CargoLogicAir gets green light to resume operations

CargoLogicAir has been given the green light to resume operations by the UK Civil Aviation authority.

A spokesperson for the UK Civil Aviation Authority, said: “We can confirm that CargoLogicAir Limited, which operates from London Stansted Airport, has had its Operating Licence and Air Operator Certificate suspension lifted in order for them to provide cargo flights using two Boeing 747 aircraft on contracts to provide medical supplies.”

At its own request, the company had its Operating Licence and Air Operator Certificate suspended on 27  February  2020 for a period of three months due to a downturn in demand. However, the covid-19 pandemic has led to a recent surge in demand as virus-stricken countries look to secure air cargo capacity for the transportation of medical supplies such as personal protective equipment.
